Daniel was born in Toronto Canada in 1974 by Romanian parents. He lives in Las Vegas and has a passion for his town. He is unmarried. He started playing poker at age 15 and enjoys movies and reggae music. He also plays a lot of golf. His main ambition in life is to find the women of his dreams and start a family and to continue to be successful in Poker. Instead of going to school, he quit when he was 18 and started playing poker full time. He went to Vegas and in the beginning of his career he failed the game. He decided that he needed to study the game in order to be successful. It paid off. In 1999, he reached the finals in Foxwoods and WSOP the following year. Today, he plays in the biggest cash prize tournaments and has won major poker tournaments. He was announced the player of the year in 2004. Daniel has written books about Poker and is considered one of the most prestigious players today. In WSOP 2004 he won money in 6 tournaments and won Event 15 - going away with $169,100.
