Satellites are tournaments, usually multi-stage, where the winner wins an entry into a larger prize tournament. For example, hosts multi-stage tournaments where the winner will win an expense paid trip to play in an offline World Poker Tour tournament. Freerolls
Freeroll tournaments are tournaments that are FREE to enter on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no buy-in or entry fee to play, and there is usually a small cash prize for the winner. After a determined amount of stages, the final players combine on a championship table, where the top player(s) win a cash prize or entry into a larger tournament. Sit 'n' Go
Sit 'n' Go is a term used to describe a tournament that begins the moment all seats at a table are filled, instead of following a preset schedule.
